Final testing

Final testing is in progress!

By cil

This is it! It's coming!

How exciting! It's come to that time. Everything is set up. Running. And now we're doing the final tests.

This will probably be one of the shortest blog posts we ever write but also one of the most important.
No fancy images. No thought out layouts. Just this plain and simple blurb.

After a long period of planning, development, re-planning, re-development and so-on, the fourth iteration of the Eigo81 website that you see before us now is the one that we are finally happy with. The one we are going to release into the wild and to the public.

It is our give-back to the community of expats and Japanese who so openly welcomed us into the country. A resource to help both the gaikokujin community and the local Japanese to work together to help make life better across all boards. More convenient. More supportive.

Anyone (in Japan) can add their business or other businesses and services they know. Where can we find good hairdressers that speak English? Perhaps immigration lawyers to help navigate the difficult challenges of Japanese visas. Don't speak English? That's ok! If you're happy to work with foreigners, be that if they speak Japanese or you make use of translators, you are just as welcome as well.

We're doing the final tests now. Ironing out the final kinks. Tidying things up just a little and then we're ready to launch.

See you all soon!
