How we use information
We use information to provide accounts, review and publish submissions, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, improve the directory, and communicate important service updates. We do not sell personal information.
Submissions and public content
If you suggest a business, service, resource, or article, parts of that submission may become public after review. Contact details used for moderation or account verification are handled privately unless you clearly choose to publish them.
Cookies and similar technologies
Eigo81 uses cookies and browser storage to keep the site secure, remember choices, and support account features. Optional analytics or marketing storage will only be used where it is enabled and permitted through your cookie settings.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for the site to work. They include session cookies for logged-in users, CSRF protection cookies set when secure forms or account actions need them, and the cookie-consent record itself. These are used for security, authentication, and core service operation.
Preference cookies and storage
Preference storage remembers choices such as language and light or dark mode only when you allow the Preferences category. These preferences are not used for advertising.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies may be used to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited and where errors occur. Eigo81 does not currently enable a third-party analytics tool, but if one is introduced it will be controlled through cookie settings where required.

Marketing cookies may be used for advertising, ad measurement, campaign measurement, or similar purposes. Eigo81 is prepared for Google advertising if approved in the future, but Google advertising scripts are not loaded unless advertising is configured and you have allowed Marketing cookies.

If Google ads are enabled, Google may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Depending on your choices and Google settings, ads may be contextual or personalized. You can manage Eigo81's Marketing cookie setting from the footer and manage Google ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com/.
Managing cookie choices
You can accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or choose categories in the cookie banner. You can reopen those settings from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through the banner because they are needed for security and account features.
Service providers
We may use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, payments, and advertising. Paid listing boosts are processed through Stripe; Eigo81 does not receive or store full card numbers. If Google ads are enabled, Google may process advertising and measurement data as described above.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including legal, security, moderation, and operational needs. We use practical safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
Your choices
You may contact Eigo81 to ask about your information, request corrections, or ask for deletion where appropriate. Some information may need to be kept when required for safety, moderation records, legal obligations, or legitimate service operation.
